What do you think of this name

My SO & I have completely agreed on a baby boy name but I’m worried he might get made fun of. We both really love the name Avery (I particularly love it because Jackson Avery from Grey’s Anatomy) but do you think he’d be made fun of growing up. There was a time when Avery was more a boy’s name but now it’s more common as a girl. Opinions?

I have a daughter, Avary. Sometimes I worry ppl will think she’s a boy just by her name. So many names these days are unisex though. Don’t worry

I think it can go for both. my bestfriends boyfriends brothers name is Avery. also my aunts niece on her husbands side is Avery.

I know more guys named Avery than females. I think it will be fine. As soon as I saw the name I thought of Grey's Anatomy. Can't wait to watch it tonight! Congrats by the way!

I love it. Avery is actually the name my SO and I have picked if our baby is a boy.
Even though it is gaining in popularity for girls, I believe it sounds a bit too masculine for girls. You picked a great name, don’t have second thoughts.
