Retrieval

Hey ladies! Just wanted to put out their my experience so far with IVF. We had our egg retrieval on Tuesday the 16th of January. We got 3 eggs, and we got a call yesterday that all 3 fertilized with ICSI (I have premature ovarian failure and left ovary failure at the age of 24, so we are OVER THE MOON with 3 eggs!) We are so excited and hopeful that all 3 will make it! We are scheduled for a FET for early March, if everything goes well with the eggs. As for the retrieval, I think people make it out to be worse than what it really is, I only took one Tylenol that Tuesday and have had no other pain killers since. (Maybe I feel different because I only got 3 eggs, and maybe it wasn’t as painful?) but am back at work and thrilled to be feeling a little more “normal” from coming down off of all the hormones!

Anyways, I am totally open to any questions to anyone who is starting the process!
