Husband has flu, should we delay 16 month olds vaccines?

They’ve already been delayed because of her medical being switched and being without coverage for a month.. (her scheduled vaccine date was 12/9/17) 
Due to transportation issues it’s been delayed until tomorrow...
But my husband is home with the flu. I know you shouldn’t vaccinate while the child is sick, but what about if someone else in the home is sick? I can’t find anything on google about it..

call the ped to ask for advice . Ours had a runny nose but no fever and he went ahead.

Ask the doctor what they would recommend. My son was sick the day before his 15 month vaccines, a stomach thing, but our doctor went ahead and gave him the vaccines since he was fever-free the entire time. He was tired as heck the next couple days but otherwise fine.

If he’s sick and you believe she’s been exposed enough that she’s likely to get sick too, I would personally delay them. Just because the flu comes with a fever for several days and my LO always gets a little bit of a fever and crabbiness from the vaccines. I would want to be able to discern what is a true symptom, so if it wasn’t a huge deal to anybody to put them off a little bit, I would.

as long as rhe baby isn't running a fever, you should be okay to have vaccinations :)

You should be fine. call the doctor and ask but usually as long as baby doesn't seem sick or has had a fever that day you should be fine
