Decreased movement?

I’m 24 weeks and started feeling baby moving around a few weeks ago. He has been really active and I was feeling him all the time. Especially after eating and drinking. Over the past few days it seems like he has really slowed down. I used my Doppler and his heart rate is still good, but I’m making myself panic. Has anyone else experienced decreased movement or should I call my doctor?

My doc says at the stage they’re still somewhat small enough to get tucked under somewhere and you may not be able to feel the movement as well. Also, some days they may be more active than others. I don’t think they recommend to start kick counts until 28 weeks though.

Well ladies, he’s making up for the past week today! He has not stopped moving all day haha!

I was told by my midwife not to use a doppler at home because they aren’t no where near as effective as the ones they use and can give false noises etc. But i was also told that reduced movements should definitely be checked, otherwise your going to stress yourself out and then the baby will become distressed as well. If your concerned at all about ANYTHING get yourself and baby checked out! Nothing is too small for the sake of your unborn baby.

The inconsistency with kicks is the worst!  
I agree with what has already been posted, but be sure to listen to your gut.  If something is telling you something seems off, you can always go in and get checked out.

Omg! Me too! I’m 22 weeks but have been feeling her move since I was 15 weeks. About a week ago I noticed that she was moving significantly less and got so worried. I was told by some other moms that it’s just your uterus being much bigger than them and so they have tons of room to move around. They can even do somersaults without us feeling them! My baby girl is in my back (I know because of my significant sciatic pain) and I’ve noticed that when I have more sciatic pain I feel her less. So the two correlate with each other. Doesn’t make it any leas scary though!
