I have had no problems ending dating relationships in the past; however, I got married a little over a year and a half ago and things are just not going well. We did premarital counseling before marriage and we even had a few sessions with a professional counselor after we got married. I don’t think we have any hope of fixing these problems without an objective 3rd party, but he is now refusing to go back to counseling. I don’t want to be the kind of person that just gives up on my marriage, but how long is too long to remain unhappy. It has been rocky for months now with no significant signs of improvement. I feel like I don’t have anything else left to give or anything left to try at this point.
