what should i do?

So i was basically diagnosed with PCOS about a month ago (i asked for some sort of test but 2 different Dr.s said it wasn't necessary cuz i have all of the symptoms). One dr put me on metformin but i had an allergic reaction to it and had to stop. i

I can't take the birth control pill because it makes my migraines horrid and i gained 30+ pounds when i tried to take it and there was even more side effects. I went to another dr today and he wants me to put in an IUD since i kinda have to take something, so i guess i just want to know what some of you are taking and what y'all would recommend. Thanks!
