Question

Anyone try it? My son is 3 months and has a flat spot from his sleeping position. I’ve tried repositioning him and he just insists on turning his head.

I’ve heard it’s not recommended because of a SIDS risk. I also learned that sleeping isn’t the primary cause of the flatness on the back of the head. I can’t say I know for sure because I don’t have firsthand experience (yet!) but my fetal maternal health doctor says it’s usually caused by too much time spent in car seats. Babies need more tummy time, too. Maybe if yours is in their car seat or not on their tummy a lot when they’re away, try that first?
