Period for 9 days 😪

I've been on the pill since late October and haven't had a period since starting until now. It's lasted 9 days so far and doesn't look like it's going to let up 😔 is this normal? is there any way I can stop it? I take my pill at the same time each day, everyday (there are no sugar pills.)
