I have a huge color variety of eyeshadows and so I decided to go out of my comfort zone and use green!

You did good! To make it more green, put down a base, like an concealer lighter than you, pat it in with your beauty blender and then apply your eyeshadow.

Just a few things: 
I would recommend using matte shades only for parts of your eye but the very lid. It makes it look a lot more bold, defined and normal, basically
Also, blend!!!
