Period cramps after period ends??

I apologize in advance if this isn’t the right group to post this in, but I have been having cramps since my period ended a week ago. My period ended last Friday with brown spotting Saturday (1/12-1/13). The cramps aren’t like emergency room, excruciating pain but it’s like menstrual cramps (not unbearable but very uncomfortable). These have been going on for almost a week now, several different times a day. At first I didn’t think much about it, but tonight I had it happen and it was really uncomfortable to the point I almost doubled over in pain. I checked to see if I was ovulating and I don’t believe I am. I guess I’m just curious if this is a normal thing that happens? I’ve never had this before to my knowledge, so it’s just throwing me off. Plus google isn’t very helpful lol. I will be calling my OBGYN on Monday if this persists or gets worse. Thanks for any help or input!
