I wish I could stop it, unfortunately in a Portuguese family its very difficult to escape the excessive kissing

They can kiss the top of babies head when she is wearing a hat or her feet. Her hands stay covered with mittens and no kisses in the face. I was a little crazy about this with my daughter born last year because she was a January baby and sickness was everywhere. Even though our babies are due in May, I’m not taking chances. I already two other little germs buckets that will share everything with her at home (the older sisters 😅) so I don’t need adult germs being shared either.

I would really love to prevent the kissing on the face but I know it'll be very hard to prevent. One thing that nobody must do is kiss on the lips! Absolute no-no. 🙅🏽🙅🏽🙅🏽

I was never picky about this with my first son, & I more than likely won't be with my second either. I don't like kissing on the mouth (no one I know does that anyway) but I don't wrap them in bubble wrap, it's good for them to be exposed to things so their immunity builds up.

I feel like family is kind of a no brainer, especially if they are close to you. Friends... nope
