9 weeks or 10 weeks?!

According to my ultrasound and due date, I’m 9 weeks 1 day. My home screen even says that. But when I logged in, it told me 10?!

Yes because you’re in your tenth week. Your past “9” so being 9.1, that’s ur tenth week. 
You can’t be classed 1 week, until the 7th day. But on the 8th day, ur no longer in ur first week are you? Ur in ur second. But classed as 1 week and 1 day.
Does that make sense?

ULTRASOUNDS LIE!! Don’t trust them. Trust your body and your documentation of your cycle. It’s stupid machine that doctors live by religiously but those machines don’t know you or your body. I have small babies and all 7 of my babies were born 5-7 pounds FULL TERM but if you want to go by the ultrasound they were born “33-36 weeks.” because ultrasounds don’t realize that people can have small babies! 🙄

You are 9w 1d but in your tenth week of pregnancy . They measure based on complete weeks.

I'm not sure how good I'm going to explain this but when I was pregnant I was confused by this also. And asked the same thing, basically because your 1 day over nine weeks your in your 10th week of pregnancy when your 10 weeks one day you'll be in your 11th week does that make sense? There are settings you can change you it'll say 9 weeks if you prefer I can't remember where they are as I'm using glow baby now. But I hope this helps in some way at least?

It could have to do with when your last period was and then your due date. If I go by my last period I’m 5 weeks 5 days, but because I ovulated late in my cycle I’m actually only about 5 weeks. Glow may be confused by the two.

Lol I think this is a bug. I’m five weeks today and the app gave me the same notice and said I was six weeks. It showed five weeks on the home screen though. The pop up was just a week ahead.
