High fever after 4 month vaccines- what is normal?

My son had his 4 month shots over 24 hours ago, he ran a fever of 101-102 all night and he's slept pretty well and is eating normally and just acting like he doesn't feel very good but otherwise normal. He's fluctuating between 99 and 102.6 though. Should I try tylenol and if it doesn't reduce his fever tonight take him to the hospital just to make sure it's not the start of an illness? I've heard him cough a couple times but it doesn't seem like a sick cough.

Fever is normal after shots. Yes, give Tylenol though because it will make him more comfortable. No need for the hospital though. If you're still worried later, maybe call the pediatrician.

Tylenol and make sure he's not wrapped up in a blanket (I know he may want to be). If you can, have him take a bath with room temperature water to help with the fever. Also, lots of fluids and protein foods.
My kids get mild fevers after shots every other time. It's usually gone after a day or two.

You didn’t give him Tylenol last night? Give him some and if it doesn’t go away then yeah Hospital time. 
My son had a fever after his 4 months shots, gave Tylenol but it didn’t go away. He ended up having the start of a UTI.
