Boyfriend irritating me

We’ve been together over a year and I love him deeply. I’m 26 weeks pregnant with my second, his first.

When I was about 12 weeks pregnant, we found out he got into the police academy about 2.5 hours away. He moved there and comes home on the weekends.

On Friday he got pepper sprayed and tear gassed so he was in a lot of pain and said he’s not coming home this weekend because he didn’t want to drive like that. COMPLETELY understandable and I wouldnt want him driving in that condition anyway.

So I said “how about I come to you then? I’ll help take care of you and we can just relax for the weekend”

He said “it’s fine. I want to rest for the weekend and study”

Okay fine.

We were texting today and he stopped replying for over an hour and finally when he texted back I asked what he was up to. He responded “getting ready to go out with the guys”

WTF!! I’m not mad that he’s going out with his friends, it’s the fact that he told me not to come see him because he needed rest yet he can go out with his friends?

All I want is to spend time with him before the baby comes. We only see each other on weekends. now he’s apparently not coming home for a couple more weeks because the next couple weeks are study groups and a major test.

I’m so irritated. Since thanksgiving we’ve barely spent any time together because the holidays were so crazy for us. He’s not even trying now.

Sorry guys. I had to vent.
