Yaz side effects or just me not feeling well?

So I’m on birth control for the first time on Yaz. I only took the first pill last night so I don’t know if the nausea is from the pill or my general cramps and stomach issues... I’ve never felt this way on mh period before so it’s making me a bit nervous that it could be the pill, but I only just started? Could the effects happen that quickly?

The more anxious you are, the worse you're going to feel.
It's always taken me about two weeks to really notice any side effects with a new birth control, and then they're generally temporary. Try to relax, and give your body time to adjust. Generally you want to be on a new pill for about 3 months so you know how it works for you, and stressing this early will make those months miserable.

I would change pills. Yaz is actually really dangerous and was recalled at one point for causing gallbladders to rupture.
