What is your effects on the BC shot?

I was thinking about going on the shot since it was more effective, but i wanted other peoples personal opinoin beforehand.

It has the most negative reviews out of every birth control method.

Just come off it. I don’t recommend it tbh.
Good point - no periods 
Bad points - 
Made my depression worse
No sex drive at all (luckily I’m single)
Weight gain despite dieting
Made my skin greasier and had more breakouts 
Spotting and bleeding 3 weeks straight with random days of cramping since coming off it 
Doesn’t protect you from STDs

I was on it for 3 years. I never had my period which was awesome, however I now have low calcium & d3 from it despite taking calcium with it. I did gain weight as well but I feel like that was going to happen regardless due to low movement at work and sitting in class all day. I cant comment on sex drive because all forms of BC ive ever been on, I had 0 sex drive like he was lucky to get it once a month...
