Why do men think it’s alright to be in the middle of a disagreement then just leave things as they are??

My pain in the ass ... excuse me .... man ... is away with work, tonight we had a bit of a disagreement. Haven’t really cleared things up, but he’s just like “I’m gonna go sleep baby” like nothing is wrong and we aren’t In The middle of something?!!

And you can bet your ass he will call in the morning like everything is fine, but I’ll be ready for him ..... he’s not getting out of this one easily 😏😏
