Way to help ease anxiety during menstruation??
I struggle with anxiety anyway, during my period is obviously when it’s at its worst because of the imbalance of hormones and my pains can trigger an attack. However, I still am struggling to find ways of helping deal, ease or prevent feeling this way. I’d say that over the past few months it’s been very controllable (not during my period) but then I start bleeding then my body gives in.
I have spoken to my doctor about going onto the pill to stop it because my pains are excruciating and the bleeding is actually non-stop...like change tampon every hour, non-stop...but i declined the offer due to the side effect of putting on more weight (i’m 8.5 stone btw, 5 foot 5, hourglass figure) and she said that it might help deal with my anxiety.
I need more opinions before I make a final decision. Anyone have any advice to help cope?
