Hey future mommas! I’m about 7 weeks along according to my LMP and I’m so excited! My husband and I tried for over a year and as soon as we gave up, boom! BFP! I called a local OB since I didn’t already have one to schedule an appointment the day I found out (1/14) but they didn’t schedule me until 2/15 (I’ll be about 10 weeks).

My question is, is this normal? Should I try another office? It seems like a long time to make an expectant mother wait, when everything I read says 6-8 weeks is a normal time to have your first appointment. What do you guys think, should I play it cool (or pretend to) and wait? Or call around?
