So my boyfriend doesn't like my prom dress..

I've recently started looking at prom dresses for prom this coming March and I found some that I really like and this one really caught me eyes. Months ago I saved it on instagram because it's just GORGEOUS!!!

Then, while shopping and trying on dresses, I FOUND MY DREAM DRESS AND TRIED IT ON! It was an immediate win for me and I fell in love, but of course it's a totally unflattering photo...

But when I showed the dress to my boyfriend he didn't seem to agree. He doesn't like floral and thinks it looks more like a sundress than a formal dress. He's tried to show me and convince me to get other dresses that I liked too, but I really think this is the one. I love it but I also want him to think it's a beautiful dress and he's mentioned that he doesn't like it at all...

He's said that it's my decision and I can choose whatever I want... but he's also repeating that he doesn't like the dress or the floral pattern.

I don't know what to do!!!

( I also planned on wearing some blue and white adidas under the dress for fun and comfort and he was totally against that as well... HELP! )
