Hey ladies! 
What are some of your money saving tips? 
How do you save money on groceries (without buying a ton of junk), bills, cars, homes, etc?
I’m trying to think outside of the box and outside of what I’m currently doing!

I save by making a few things from scratch and buying things on sale. I found that ingredients for things are around the same price or often times cheaper, are healthier as no preservatives and extra chems for shelf life, go way further and create more family time. I don't buy every single item on sale but I do take advantage of sale items by freezing the extra that I buy. It also helps me stay creative in the kitchen. Hope this helps :)

I use iBotta, coupons.com, Dosh, and Shopkick. Make my grocery list at home, check the apps for coupons/rebates and go from there. We also spring for house brand over name brand. It’s just the same for cents-dollars cheaper. We shopped around for auto insurance and found one that was $75 cheaper than what we were paying with State Farm that offered greater coverage. Renter’s insurance through Farmers is $23/mo and covers our dogs. We usually get Walmart or HEB gift cards for gas since it knocks off anywhere from 3-10¢ per gallon. Electric, we used powertochoose.org to shop around and compare companies. We also have a Nest thermostat and that’s helped our electric tremendously. I’m starting to look into refinancing our trucks to see if a lower interest rate is available and have considered trading the balance of my highest apr credit card to another credit card that has no apr for the first year and trying to pay it off with as little interest as possible.
