Best time for a baby shower?!

My MIL is planning a baby shower for me and wants to do it when I’m 37 weeks pregnant. I’d prefer to do it around 25-30 so I have time and energy to put everything away. Not to mention it being scorching hot in July 😂 when did you guys have your baby showers?! Did you prefer earlier or later in the pregnancy? Let me know what you think!

I did my baby shower with my first when I was around 25 weeks. It was also fall as I wasnt due until February. Depending on gender of baby #2 I may or may not have another shower but if I do I’m hoping to do it in late spring / early summer being due at the end of September

I'm doing my baby shower June 2nd and I'm due July 15th, I have had all preterm labor's and just making sure I'm still at my baby shower and not going into labor

I’ll be having mine at 31 weeks. Under 35 weeks is best I’ve heard to enjoy yourself and comfort level.

If I were able to choose I'd do an earlier one! But since your MIL is hosting it, i think it's up to her discretion in my opinion! If she is gracious enough to host that's awesome!  :)

I'll be just before 35 weeks when we have ours and I was really wishing to do it sooner, but that's what worked best for everyone. Not only do I feel like I might not feel up for it mentally or physically, but at 35 weeks I'll have less time to buy everything else that I'll need that I don't get at the shower.

I was 34 weeks with mine, but as the day went on I was uncomfortable. I think around 30 weeks is good!

You will be so uncomfortable at 37 weeks.  I did mine at 32 I believe and it was good
