Picking name after birth?

I notice a lot of people name their babies before they are born, and I do have a boy and girl name I like. But is it weird to pick one and name after birth? Just curious if this is normal thanks

I don’t think it’s weird. A lot of people have a few front runners and then wait until the baby is born to make a final decision.

We have two names picked and will decide when we see him :)

I plan on having Atleast 2 names picked out for a girl or boy. That way incase baby comes out "not looking like" the name we decided we'd have a backup lol.

It's not weird. We didn't settle on a name until we saw our daughter. Where I live we have 30 days to register the birth so there isn't any rush.

we never name them till we meet them. have a list of a few and then we just KNOW when we see them ;)
