Glucose test

So I haven't really been restricting what I've been eating. 21 weeks and haven't gained too much weight. But haven't been able to cut out soda completely and I'm noticing a lot of sweet cravings (ice cream and chocolate). I'm nervous about the glucose test and my blood sugar being high. I would hate to have to do an insulin pump or meet with a dietician. To prevent all this should I really just cut all these things out completely!?
