Would you say something?

This probably will get moved to the parenting room, but I do find this controversial.

So everyday us parents pick our children up from school we all meet the teachers in the playground. So naturally you hear conversations between friends. I was standing in the spot where my sons class lines up to meet, and I overhear a conversation between a small group and this woman says “yea I give —(child)—Benadryl and melatonin to go to sleep. “ mind you she has two kids, the one is in preschool, and the other is a baby... so I’m (hoping) she’s regarding the preschooler..

So I just shrugged this off as none of my business.

So now I’ve been noticing more things by her.

Now the past couple days I’ve walked past her or she’s stood near me I’ve heard her yell at her child “shut the fuck up!” “I’m gonna fucking punch you!” “I’m going to beat your ass!”.

She always seems to speak to her child with harsh language and hostility.

On one hand I feel as though it’s not my business, especially since I know I’m not the only One hearing this, even teachers had to have heard her a few times.

But some times I see that boy cry and I just want to tell her off.

In situations like this what do you do?

Have you ever stepped in and said something to a parent before?
