Is “damn” a swear word?

For an adult, no, but I guess I could understand grouping it in with swear words for a child so they understand it’s not really an appropriate word to throw around until they understand it better 🤷‍♂️

I got In School Suspension in high school for saying Damn.

Yes. If you would allow your toddler to say it then it’s not a bad word. So I wouldn’t let my babies say it. So yes I consider it a bad word.

Depends where you are from and how you were raised.

Depends on context. If you're talking about "eternal damnation" in reference to Hell, then it's fine. If you're saying something like "GD" then it is definitely a swear word.

Yea, it's a "curse word," but who cares. I swear a lot, just not in front of my parents for respect reasons.

I have always used "damn". "Bloody" (as in bloody hell) I was told off for and "crap" until I was in HS lol

I wasn’t allowed to say it as a child and I wouldn’t say it at work, so I guess so 🤷🏼‍♀️
I really don’t see a problem with anyone saying curse words though. I only don’t say it at work to avoid getting it trouble
