Is Arlo a good name for a girl? I really want to name my baby Arlo, and I've met little girls in the past named Arlo. But apparently it used to be a boys name only.

I had this on the list for middle names, different spelling tho: Arlowe, a little more on the feminine looking side if it helps. Hubby wasn't crazy about it, but I still think it's pretty.  Arlo spelling does look a bit more masculine, but still a cute name.

My son is Arlo, and we've met one girl with the name, and many boys.  Personally, I think it's more boy-ish and would do Harlow for a similar sound but more feminine name.
