Would you raise your child vegan?

I'm vegan, my husband isn't, our son isn't as well. If he decides that he wants to no longer east animal products when he's older then I'll support him, and if he chooses to continue eating animal products I'll accept it. I won't force any of my food choices on anyone else, regardless of if I birthed them or not.

No, because I’m not one so that would just cost more. If she wants to be one when she’s older, she will.

No. Because I love meat and cheese and dairy. I wouldn't want my kid to miss out on how delicious those things are!
Plus I wouldn't know how to balance her diet appropriately so she would get what she would need if she wasn't eating foods from animals.

Still contemplating this actually. My husband and I are 100% vegan and our four year old daughter eats vegan at home of course but she eats animal products at daycare and with her dad and grandparents etc (she is dairy intolerant though) but with our new baby due this summer, I think that we will raise him/her vegan because they won't know any other way where as my daughter was over 2 when I made the switch. Either way as they grow up they will have the choice obviously whether or not they want to eat animal products but just not in our house. And we will gently teach them about what we've learned about how animals are treated etc and be a good example and they can formulate the own opinions.

I’m not vegan so I wouldn’t because I wouldn’t be able to make sure they get all the nutrition they need but if they want to go vegan later they can

I can’t even have the will power to be vegan lol. But i so plan to raise them mostly vegetarian, as i am vegetarian and would like to teach them those values, but of course i wont force it on them

I’m vegan; my husband is very much not. We have a 6 month old. Im planning to make 80% of her diet plant based, and then let her have animal products a few times a week. Then, when she’s older, she can make the choice for herself. This way, I know she’s getting lots of nutrients and minimal processed foods.

If my husband and I were vegan, I would. But we’re not lol we do eat very clean and healthy though so like us, she won’t be eating anything processed and things like that.
