Has anyone experienced brown spotting the first trimester?

I'm honestly worried it's my first pregnancy and I've been spotting brown discharge since I was four weeks pregnant.  I'm currently 8 weeks pregnant. I've called my baby doctors and they said it's common. Pleases if anyone knows anything please comment.

spotting is just caused by implantation. Nothing to worry about unless your stomach starts hurting when pressure is applied to it. if you're having to wear a sanitary pad, then you need a doctor ASAP

Apparently it’s common but my last miscarriage started with brown spotting for two weeks before I miscarried BUT I’m having brown spotting with this pregnancy too so I’m hoping everything is fine this time around!

I had two wipes of light pink followed by light brown last night, and then some light brown spotting this morning. Not enough to even get on my underwear, but it was still there. Have had some cramping, but have had those tugging/crampy feelings off and on the past few weeks. First time spotting so called the doctor who wanted me to come in and have a blood test for my HCG level today, and again Friday. Praying all is well and that my numbers increase - Too soon for scans 5w3d.
