October baby's with flu?

Question

have any of your babies had the flu yet? I'm TERRIFIED that my son is gonna catch it, we've just been trying to stay in the house as much as possible and wash our hands often. if your babies did get the flu what did you use to treat it? thinking I might stock up just in case. Thanks!

Yeah my Daughter has had it twice in December and now she was sick for 3 weeks the first time and lost 2 pounds was in and out of the hospital and her Dr office and now she has it again and rsv she still breastfeeds and I think that's the only thing that has really helped her but she finally getting better now thank god because it has been crazy

flu? no. common cold? yes. our daughter had a cold at 6 weeks old. and another cold 3 weeks ago. (ps, she's vaccinated). common cold can still be brutal on a toddler. fever,  runny stuffy nose, congestion.  flu however,  on top of the above listed symptoms,  they will also be puking, diarrhea,  much higher fever,  not eating right, vomiting etc. since my daughter has not had any of the later mentioned symptoms,  I'm safe to say she's not had the flu. I do wash her hands 6 times a day. desinfecting all her playpen toys with lysol every day. I'm also making sure she eats her fruits and veggies,  so her imune system can stay strong.  along with that,  I've been avoiding all public places I go to often, like baby gym, park, grocery store,  etc. I take her out for a walk every day, so she gets sun( vitamin d and color on her skin). I'm waiting out this epidemic of flu that's going around, as much as I can

My son caught it even with getting vaccinated back in October. Thankfully, according to the doctor, because he had the vaccine (and got Tamiflu) that it only lasted about a week and was more of a bad cold with just really loose stools. He's fully recovered now and 100% back to normal. It was very scary though. I spent two hours one night rocking him while he slept and just crying because I just kept thinking about how bad it could have been.

no flu, thank God. But we have croup right now 😑.... I swear every time he goes in for his month checkups he is sick within the week.

I thought I was the only one!!!! I am terrified!!!!!!! I am preggo as well, so trying to keep us both healthy! My husband is a physician (specialist so not seeing people with the flu) but he still sees people all day long, and I’m scared he’ll bring something home. We have been cooped in the house for the last few weeks, and I’m fine with that! I even do grocery delivery and 🙌🏻 for Amazon Prime. Better safe than sorry!

No flu (a or b) but my husband and I had the stomach flu, and we all had our winter cold. She handled it like a champ.
BUT HOLY SHIT!!! My daughter started having strange symptoms last Wednesday. By Friday I figured it all out. Hand Foot & Mouth..... it is terrible...I don’t wish this on my worst enemy!! The little girl we nanny ended up getting it too, as you are contagious long before the sores show up. She looked disgusting-and that’s coming from her own mother 😂

Thankfully no! He was vaccinated in October than the second flu booster in November. I know it only protects against some flu strains but it’s better than none. I work at a hs and a college so I’m around so many germy kids that don’t wash their hands enough (some probably never) and take every precaution I can to not bring something home.
