How often does your baby eat?

My BF baby is 4.5 months and nurses about 12-14 times a day. She’s getting plenty of milk, making plenty of diapers and weighs 16.8lbs. She just eats SO much right now! Cluster feeds all evening but sleeps through the night. 
How many times a day do you feed your baby? I feel like I’m feeding my punkin so frequently, like every 60-90 minutes during the day. But she’s def giving hunger cues and eating well, so we’re going with it.

My son has recently become a distracted eater . He sucks a little then stops to look around or smile at me. Then sucks a little and stops to see what a noise was. So I've had to start feeding him in a dark quiet room. Otherwise he doesn't eat enough and I'm doing the same as you and feeding him all day.

My daughter eats every 3 hours, about 6-8 times a day. She sleeps a long stretch at night. She gets 3 bottles of about 4-5 oz of pumped breast milk while I’m at work.

Sounds totally normal for some people and some babies. How much and how often depends on their mood, your storage capacity, where they are in leaps. It’s unnecessary, and not recommended, to give solids this early. 
I have a low capacity therefore my children nurse constantly. My SIL had a large capacity and her daughter was able to go significantly longer than mine.

My daughter never ate that much even as a newborn. Sounds like a snacker?? Are they full feeds?  My daughter only eats like 6-7x. Like every 3hrs during the day and then 830pm nurses for bed then sleeps till about 430am. 
She’s almost 15lbs. Did you start foods yet? I just started cereal this week and will be adding veggies in a few days.
