He won’t let me see my dad

My dad lives out of state. He wants my son(he’s 7 months old) and I to go see him and of course my boyfriend is invited to, but he really wants to see my son and I even if my boyfriend doesn’t come. So tonight I asked my bf about it and he just filped shit saying it’s not going to happen. He can’t take off of work because he had the bills to pay. And I’m not taking our son that far just us. I’m really upset because I want to see my dad, and I want him to see his grandson and my grandparents and aunt live out there to and they want to see him as well obviously. They’ve all only been able to see him once when he was 2 months old. I understand why my bf doesn’t want me going. But I don’t have an issue with traveling with him, and again I want us to see our family regardless if my bf comes or not. My family can’t come up here because they don’t have enough money to pay for their tickets, hotel&w;/e and took a lot of time off last year to come home(where I’m at) because my uncle was dying of cancer and only had a few months to live which he did end up passing away from. I just don’t know what to do I’m really hurt and we just got into a big argument about it to where we’re not even speaking or being in the same room as each other.
