Low HCG?

I am praying this bean sticks! I had a MC late December and now I am pregnant again-- before a regular cycle! I don't know DPO, had a blood test today and HCG was at 23! I am hoping/thinking maybe I ovulated more recently and that my body kicked in with symptoms super early! Anyone have success stories with low HCG at the beginning?! I go back Thursday to have my second blood test to compare. The wait is killing me already!

In my case, my doctor refused to tell me the numbers (I’m sure she would’ve if I would’ve pressed) but her reasoning was she didn’t want me to worry about what the number was and focus more on if it rises. Try not to worry!

This is my first pregnancy after a 2nd term miscarriage 8 years ago — so, I’m completely new to it! But because of that and my age they checked my hCG this week and it’s been really low for where I’m at, measured at 5w 3D and 5w 5d (80 and 92). BUT, I haven’t had any cramping or bleeding. I’ve had other mamas reassure me that they had very low hCG and had healthy pregnancies and even websites like Huggies will tell you that hCG numbers alone isn’t a great measure of pregnancy health! SO, let’s try to stay positive together ❤️
