Relactation
I was so worried about relactating. When my baby was a month old I started having gall bladder attacks. it was the worst pain I've ever felt! my baby was a planned csesction because she was a breech so I didn't go through labor so don't judge! But my boyfriends mom went through labor twice and had gall bladder attacks too and said they're worse! 😬
And csections are tougher than people think. They're not a shortcut. They're not fun. It is so painful and stressful, physically and emotionally.
(I felt so weird going into a room pregnant and leaving not. I felt like a piece of me had just been stolen from me, even though my baby was in my arms I felt empty, I felt hollow. Please don't judge mom's who have C-sections because it's honestly the hardest thing I've ever had to do. We tried everything to flip my baby and trust me, having the doctor do a version to try to turn the baby is extremely painful.)
I finally either passed the gallstones or don't get attacks anymore, and have been able to eat again! I saw a story of a mom who produces 3 gallons a DAY of breast milk and I felt defeated. My LO gets so gassy and fussy from her formulas and I hate hearing her so upset and I want to breastfeed again. So, tonight I broke out my hand breast pump and started pumping again, and I am amazed. I didn't magically have milk again but it's a great start. I got maybe 1/4 oz of clear liquid and that is so motivating!
does anyone have relactation tips? if so I'd love to hear them, I'd also like to know if anyone has had a similar experience.
