Owlet for Preemie?

Question

I just had my baby at 34w3d. He's going to be coming home from the NICU soon, and Ive got FTM worries x10 because he's so little. I was originally going to get a Snuza Pico monitor that clips to the diaper, but since he's so small I think it's going to be hard to use on him. I also think knowing his exact pulse ox would be helpful. 
Has anyone used the owlet for a preemie? Did it fit well, and is it worth it?

I love the owlet. It's the only reason I sleep at night, so for me, it's worth the price tag for that point alone. Sure, it's not a guarantee that nothing bad will happen, like another poster said, it doesn't tel you before something bad happens, but I know myself and wouldn't sleep at night because I'd be staring at him all night, this way he has a momma who can function and isn't a ball of stress.

I got the angel care mat,  and snuza...... and you'll STILL check if they are breathing constantly.  Human nature will over power technology any day.  I wouldn't bother.

The thing with the owlet and a good pediatrician will tell you the same thing is that it’s not worth it. Yes it can tell you if baby stopped breathing and oxygen levels but it’s not gonna tell you before something bad happens, only after it’s already happened. Plus human error can set that alarm off constantly which will cause even more stress/anxiety for a new mother. Baby can kick off the monitor if it’s to loose or not put on correctly and send you into a panic. That’s Something you do NOT need as a new mom to a preemie., Your gonna be stressed, anxious, and exhausted anyways. And god forbid something happened and your baby got sids, that monitor is not going to bring them back, it won’t alert you before something happened. It’ll only alert you after. To me I wouldn’t want that stress in my life with a newborn preemie. That’s why I refuse to get it cause I don’t need even more anxiety than I already would with a newborn baby. Best of luck!

I opted out of this because the reviews say that it consistently shows the pulseox to be less than it actually is. I would be a nervous wreck and constantly in the ER. Which is the LAST place I want to bring a baby.

We’ve never had any issues with our pico being too big. As long as the diaper is on properly, the pico will stay on.

I love the owlet I don’t think it will fit a premie though the first sock says ages 0-1 month. I thought it was too loose on my daughter foot and she was full term 7lbs 6 oz
