Tampons Hurt Me

So ive tried to use a tampon once when we were on vacation and it hurt bad !! My mom had a curved urethra so i think i have one. I also have bad cramps like to the point where im crying. Should i see a doctor ? Or give me advice about the tampon thing !!!
