Doctor pregnancy test

So if I go to the doctor for a pee test can they detect it earlier than a normal test could, Or would it be the same and a waste of time? I’m only 4 days late took a digital yesterday not my morning pee but BFN. I’d like to try and get in today if anyone thinks doctor pee tests are better?
