It usually goes by your "lunar age". I was 29 years old when I conceived, but since I was turning 30 that year, that's what the calendar went by. I have a son who is 2 now and trying for baby #2. Hoping for a girl this time around, but will be ecstatic with just having a healthy baby altogether.

So far yes. If you google it though there are different “Chinese calendars” 3 were one gender and 3 were another gender so I guess one (or 3) were bound to be correct.
