Fighting for hope.

Angelika

I’m 20 weeks and 6days pregnant.

Last Thursday I was complaining about cramps and extra discharge. During the day I took it easy and Saturday the cramps went away but the discharge was still there.

I had a anatomy ultrasound scheduled for Wednesday, Jan 24th. I called my OB Monday morning just keep them updated about what had happened and they immediately told me to come in for a ultrasound.

That Monday afternoon they told me that I was 2CM dilated and they rushed me to be admitted at the hospital for bed rest. They had me with my legs prop up and I wasn’t allowed to get up at all.

Eventually they told me that the babies leg had pushed it’s way out, causing the sac to open up my cervix.

My OB managed to transfer me to St. Joseph’s hospital in Tampa to see if they could do a cerclage.

Unfortunately I’m not about to get a cerclage because the sac is bulging out and they are scared to rupture it.

So I’ve been in the hospital since Monday. I was already advised that the baby will not live. So basically I’m waiting till nature runs its course.

Last night was when I was having contractions. They came and went. But still no baby.

We are still holding on to hope...

**update**

Here’s my little Angel.

Born Jan. 25th @ 2:35pm

Unfortunately he did pass an hour later. He was too tiny for the doctors to save him. I’ve been told that I’ll have to get a cerclage when I get pregnant again. But I’ll know more about that on Friday, Feb 9th, I have a appointment with my OB to check up on me.

Thank you all for the prayers. 💙
