How many boxes of diapers per size?

Baby planning! How many of each size should I need:) I plan on buying Huggies from sams club!

lots of size one, my baby is 5 months old and still in size one! but honestly i would just get gift cards and save them to get diapers after baby is born. we had to try a lot of different brands to see what works best for us, so it makes more sense to buy as you need them

I wouldn’t stock up. My first got a rash with almost every brand. We went through a lot of trial and error finding what worked. And they can grow at such different rates. Even if the brand is fine you may find you don’t need newborn diapers at all or they are in size 3 until they potty train.

So I don’t recommend stocking up on diapers. You might have a bunch that don’t fit baby right. We used three different brands before we found the ones that fit best. 
I would get a package of newborn. My daughter was in them for a week. They only go up to 8 lbs and she was 7.11 at birth. 
She wore ones for a few months. Spent about 4 months in twos. Now she’s been in threes for a few months. She’s 9 months now. 
We change her diaper about 3-4x a day. Unless it’s poop, then it can be one or two more. We go through the giant Sam’s boxes  about one a month.

It's hard to know. It depends on how fast or slow you baby grows. with my daughter we only used less than one box of newborn. At least 5 to 6 of size one.  before she was born we had one box of newborn and 6 boxes of 1s that we bought. have a diaper raffle at your baby shower. helps a lot. We didn't buy any diapers till she was 6 months old.
