announcing rainbow baby to family?

So our first baby was the first grandchild on either side of our families. Everyone was so excited for us. We sadly lost her at 13 weeks and are trying for our second. I want our parents and siblings to be just as excited for this next baby as they were for our first. Anyone who has conceived their rainbow, did you make a special announcement for your families? How did you do it?

I’m in the same boat too... ours was the first grandchild, mc in December 8wks. TTC now.... but I’m sooooo scared. Told both parents I was pregnant, then having to tell them I mc was destroying. But I don’t want to not announce. But I don’t want to either......

I was thinking of this. I also had a mmc in December. If or when we get pregnant with a rainbow baby should we do a surprise announcement? Butttt what if I miscarry again? That would be worse than the first cuz the first we didn’t get to announce so no one knows. I don’t know it’s definitely something to think about.

I had two losses last year. When I conceive my rainbow I wanna put the heartbeat in a teddy bear for my parents & in-laws. We’ll wait a bit probably to tell them. Good luck x

I am in the same boat. We lost our first one at 6 weeks, but we didn’t tell anyone that we were pregnant until we lost it, now we are waiting till we are 12 weeks to tell, but we want to make it special because this will be the first grandchild on other side. I was thinking of making something that used rainbows in it, or wearing a shirt that said something about it carrying a rainbow baby, but I don’t know.
