Okay so my husband and I have been somewhat trying since we got married. It’ll be a first for both of us. I stopped taking bc the last week of October.

I had some spotting in late November, December and now this month. The period was something that resembled a period for two days and then nothing. Like a real flow and a lot of the dark brown and red colors. I’ve taken pregnancy tests at home and they were a BFN.

Which is fine, but I’m concerned. My mother said she never showed a positive via an at home test or even at the docs and then she found out she was pregnant with my brother when she was 6 months along. I want to get tested at the doctors office, but I would prefer a physical exam or ultra sound but no one will do either without a positive urine result. Help?? Am I overthinking it all? Is it just a couple of months of weird periods or no?
