So we all know that every pregnancy is different, so is every birth and even children from the same parents, differ. However, my MIL doesn't seem to understand that concept and every time I mention something about my new baby or my pregnancy that surprised me, she'd make this comment, "you'd think he's your first child". Like, wtf does that have to do with anything? every experience is different and I'm not gonna pretend to know everything just because he's not my first baby. I'm still baffled by some things that happened during pregnancy, labor and his first week home but apparently, I'm not expected to be surprised because I'm not a FTM. Ugh! I wanna scream, it's so annoying. I'm glad we don't live in the same house or same state or I'd quickly lose my cool.
