Everyone is different. You have try different hunts before you find the right option for yourself. What works for your best friend could cause you to gain twenty pounds. Just an example.

I'm loving the Copper IUD so far, have only had it a few months. But I'm finding it's side effects much less of an issue than what I had with implant. Loving no added hormones 💪🏽
Side note. I'm not allowed combined pill and I wasn't very good at taking minipill on time 🤦🏽‍♀️ it has to be way more "exact time every day" than the combined pill.

I hated birth control pills, I had no sex drive & started having migraines after being on them for a couple of years, when I met my husband & we were not yet ready to have a baby I got the Mirena IUD w/ low dose hormones & I loved it, my periods were lighter & less painful & I had no pms, I had no bad side effects, my husband could sometimes feel the strings from it during intercourse which he didn’t love but that was the only downside, some folks have issues w/ the insertion & removal of it (once it has expired or your ready to have babies) being painful but I didn’t
