Yes it’s normal (round ligament pain). Bring your knees up to your tummy next time to reduce the pain.

I got this suddenly at 18 weeks. holy he'll it hurt. 😂 It surprised me as before then I had no issues when sneezing.

I had the same thing, turned out I had cysts on my ovaries! Never would’ve known I had them if I hadn’t noticed the pains, they’re nothing to be concerned about because they tend to just disappear on their own but if I’d discovered them earlier I could’ve asked the doctor for some pain relief. Mine started off just hurting when I sneezed or coughed hard, then started hurting when I sat down/stood up, then just randomly when I moved suddenly, so it’s worth checking with your doctor and avoiding unnecessary pain! Even if it turns out to be nothing you’ll most likely get an early scan out of it, I got 2!

Sounds like early round ligament pain to me (I got it early too). From what I understand, round ligament pain is a sharp, sudden pain in the lower left or right abdomen that only lasts a few seconds and is brought on by things like coughing, sneezing, laughing, or abrupt movement. Sound familiar? I first felt it a couple days before I even knew for sure I was pregnant. I'd just woken up, and I sneezed, and I felt this sharp, unexpected pain that made me cry out, which startled my husband! But as soon as I felt it, it disappeared.
