low supply.... Lactation pills?

Hello ladies. My breastfeeding journey has been extremely difficult and also a long story .... so long story short after multiple bumps in the road my supply is now so low that I can only pump twice a day and get only a couple ounces from each breast. I’ve been trying to power pump do oatmeal and what not and nothing has been working. I cannot put my daughter directly into my breast because she does not latch( she has a minor toung-tie) and she is used to bottles now and refuses to do the shield so I’m planning on contacting the lactationist so that I can start all over with her 😭😭 I picked these up at target but haven’t taken them yet as I am on antibiotics at the moment for strep throat and I don’t want it to interfere.... have any of you mommas out there tried this before? Does or did 
 t work for you?

I had been through the same journey my LO is 6 weeks today.. tried fenugreek for 4 weeks no luck I could only express 40 ml (at the max 80 if I haven’t fed my baby for 3 hrs) yesterday I suddenly saw I expressed 150 ml and for the whole night I was wondering how it happened.. my baby is having gas from last 2 days and my mom boiled water fennel seeds for gas problem and I drank that water. then I read on Internet fennel actually helps to boost milk supply. Today since morning I had fennel seed water before every feed and my baby who used to struggle with no or low milk supply is sleeping for 3 hrs after every feed. Just get fennel seeds n boil I water n drink that water I guess it works like wonder no need to spent hefty money on tea bags or cookies..

I agree, the Mothers Milk is amazing and here is a recipe for lactation cookies. I swear by this combo to boost your supply! Good luck!!
INGREDIENTS:
3 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
1 1/2 cups unbleached organic all-purpose flour
5 tablespoons brewers yeast
3 tablespoons ground flaxseed
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
12 tablespoons organic unsalted butter
4 tablespoons unrefined organic virgin coconut oil
1 1/2 cups organic cane sugar
1 large egg + 1 large egg yolk
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups dark chocolate chips/chunks (I like ghirardelli)
feel free to add: unsweetened flaked coconut, chopped almonds, 1 to 2 tablespoons of almond butter
Directions: 
Preheat the oven the 350 degrees F.
In a large bowl, whisk together the oats, flour, yeast, flaxseed, baking powder, soda, cinnamon and salt.
In the bowl of your electric mixer, beat the butter and coconut oil on medium speed until creamy. Add in the sugar and beat on medium to high speed until fluffy, about 4 to 5 minutes, scraping down the sides of the bowl if needed. Add in the egg and egg yolk, beating until combined, about 2 to 3 minutes. Add in the vanilla extract and beat until combined again. Gradually add in the dry ingredients, beating on low speed until just combined and mixed. Stir in the chocolate chips with a spatula until they are evenly dispersed.
Scoop the dough into 1-inch rounds (I use an ice cream scoop so they are fairly uniform in size) and place on a baking sheet about 2 inches apart. Bake for 10 to 14 minutes, or until the bottoms are just golden. Let cool completely before storing in a sealed container.

My supply dropped drastically after switching birth controls. I started taking those exact ones and now I have plenty of milk for my little guy. I've been taking them for just over a month and I saw at least some increase within the first week, and now my supply is fine. Worth it for me because it solved my low supply, but I'd imagine you can find cheaper options out there. Always a good idea to check with your doctor before taking any supplement as well. Besides, they may he able to tell you more exactly what may be causing the low supply, and how to reverse it.

I’ve used mothers milk tea, in the tea bag section at any store! I couldn’t believe how good it worked!!! Doesn’t taste bad either! And instant results!
