How do you ladies know EXACTLY when you ovulated??

When everyone says “I’m 9 DPO” like I know you kind of have a estimation when you catch your LH surge, you will normally ovulate within the next 24 hrs.....but I never know EXACTLY when I ovulated??  Is Tempting or cervical mucous check the best indicator??? Any thoughts would be helpful.

I honestly dont know. I myself just wing it and pray for a positive at the end. I dont want to stress myself with ovulation tests and temps, I feel like it will happen when its meant to happen. Goodluck!

I take my temp every day with a basal body thermometer. When it rises, it means I ovulated the day before and it stays up for the tww until AF. Or...if I'm pregnant, it just stays up the whole time. It's the only way I would know since my cycles are kind of irregular. I use the book "Taking charge of your Fertility" for info.

I usually get two days of positive ovulation tests, so I know I ovulate on the second day of testing positive. I always test early in the morning.

I get horrible crippling ovulation pain for an hour. Its like having a birth contraction.
