Im 15 and recently lost my virginity to a boy I really trust. We've been dating for a while now and we used protection (I'm on the pill already and he used a condom), so I'm safe, but I'm feeling a bit insecure. I definitely felt ready, but am I too young? Should I be embarrassed?

I lost mine awhile after I turned 14 and tbh I don’t regret it. I’m still in a relationship with the person so... plus we lost it to each other. I say, whatever makes you happy. I’m almost 15 now, and have gotten really mature within these almost 4 years of hitting puberty.

I don’t think you should be embarrassed. I think 15 is a bit young, but it is what it is. I lost my virginity when I was 16 and I think that’s too young to start getting serious like that. I wasn’t ready but I thought I was. Looking back, I could have waited at least a few years. My twin sister on the other hand, she had sex at 15 and hasn’t regretted it at all. Just depends on the person, but generally I think it’s too young.
