Be honest, were you disappointed in the gender of your baby when you found out?

This is the main reason I am waiting until birth to find out!! Because it sounds so horrible but I feel like I would be disappointed, that’s just kind of natural 🤷🏼‍♀️ but after you’re pushing that baby out and they lay it on your chest it doesn’t matter if it’s a girl or boy because the moment is so magical. Because, even if we do feel a little disappointed, in the end we all love our babies more than anything!

I haven’t found out the gender of my 3rd baby until tomorrow, but I do hope for a boy this time. A part of me already feels like this baby is a girl, just because I haven’t been so lucky before lol but anything is possible! I still have hope for a boy, and even if I don’t get my boy I’ll still be happy 😊

I wanted a second girl and they told me boy I cried.  I wouldnt change the gender of any of my kids.

I will vote on the tenth when we find out what baby #2 is. Was I with my son? A little, for a minute. I really thought we were having a girl.

I was totally disappointed bordering horrified that I’m having a boy when I found out. That was 8 weeks ago. I’ve only ever known baby girls and it was in my comfort zone to imagine having one, and when I found out it was a boy my anxiety spiked, because it feels like a whole new world that I wasn’t prepared for. I’ve done a complete 180 since then and am now on board team blue and grateful that I’m having a boy! It’s okay to be let down when things don’t come out the way you imagine them to, for whatever reason, and I’m glad there was a lot of time to come to terms. I personally needed that and other moms may too.

yes both times so this time I'm not getting my hopes up I really want a girl but I'm telling myself it's a boy so when the US tech or doc deliver the verdict I'll already be mentally prepared

I'd probably have been disappointed (at least mildly) if I was having a girl honestly. I just really didn't want a girl; don't get me wrong I love little girls as much as little boys, but I always felt like he was a boy. We had a name for him from about 8-9 weeks as well. All the girl names I found didn't fit to me with our last name. Plus hubs already has both from previous relationships so rounding out at 3 kids with two boys and a girl, was perfect to me. I was also really afraid to screw up a girl the way I feel my biological mother did me.

I wasn't disappointed that it was a boy but all of my expecting friends are having girls so I feel a little left out, like I don't fit in..
