Godparents

Ok so I have a question regarding godparents. My husbands brother just had a baby not too long ago. Last night, he texted my husband and asked him to be the babies godfather. I honestly felt kind of disappointed and left out that they did not mention me being a godmother. I thought that typically when a godparent is married, their spouse gets included too. We don’t have any kids yet so we haven’t looked into godparents a lot. However, my sister has 3 kids and she included all spouses. For example, she would ask me and my husband and then someone from my brother in laws side too. I am not sure if I should be upset or if I am overreacting. What do you all think??
